BR (ex LMS) Ivatt class 2 2-6-0 no. 46431. Produced from the DJH kit by DJH themselves as a precision ready to run model, powered by a Slaters GB30R-3M spur drive gear unit with current collection by plunger pickups. The loco is in mint as built condition. Ivatt class 2’s are rare to find. The Standard variant is much more common and 78013 is featured elsewhere on this website. The quality of 46431 is so good, even the drivers and fireman’s cabside glass cinder guards are hinged! The original company DJH has unfortunately recently gone down the pan, but Squires Tools have taken over the production of O gauge models using members of the same skilled and dedicated workforce as at DJH.
